Passion for pheasant hunting in North Dakota led to creation of ND Pheasants Inc.

 

    ND Pheasants Inc. was started in early 2009 out of a passion for pheasant hunting in North Dakota and my life-long ties to the state.  I was born, raised & educated in North Dakota and spent my first 27 years there.  Growing up in small agricultural communities, I was exposed to all the things that make ND a state great.  And I’m not just talking about the pheasant hunting!  North Dakota’s greatest asset is its people; friendly, hard working, loyal people that are dedicated to their communities.  With this web site, I hope to expose a new group of hunters to the thrill of flushing a pheasant and a taste of North Dakota hospitality after the hunt.

    Because I currently live in Minnesota, ND Pheasants Inc. was formed as a MN corporation, but I fully intend to use its resources to bring more tourism dollars to the state and its residents via pheasant hunting in North Dakota.  It is my desire to give something back to the communities that helped me become who I am today. 

    The interactive map directory is the heart of the web site.  It gives hunters a visual representation of where the pheasant hunting lodges, guides, and other services are located.  Since most hunting destinations are near small ND towns, and hunters outside the area have no idea where these towns are located, our site eliminates the need to have a map in hand as you search a long list of names and addresses, as with other hunting directories.

    The map is a wonderful tool.  It allows you to do an incredible amount of research without leaving the page.  You can narrow your search by choosing different services.  You can read short descriptions of businesses and see a picture of their facilities.  You can even get their contact information and view their website without losing your place on our map.  If you know where you would like to hunt, you can zoom into an area and view the hunting land by using the satellite or hybrid views!

    The directory will continue to grow as more businesses learn about our web site.  I personally edit every single listing, so if you see an error, please contact me so I can correct it.  If you own a business or know of a business that would like to be listed in our directory, please let me know.  I welcome all comments and suggestions through the CONTACT US page.
